Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical injuries or illnesses to improve their movement and manage their pain. You will develop personalized treatment plans, educate patients on exercises and techniques, and monitor progress to ensure optimal recovery.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct initial assessments and establish treatment goals for patients.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
3. Provide hands-on therapy to relieve pain, improve mobility, and prevent disability.
4. Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and self-care strategies.
5. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
8. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the provision of care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. CPR certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
7. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
8. Experience working with diverse patient populations.
