Job Title: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children from birth to adolescence. This role involves collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop customized treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing therapy to improve communication skills, including articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication
- Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educating parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child's communication development
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as pediatricians and educators, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment
- Keeping detailed records of assessments, treatments, and progress reports
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
