Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with patients to develop and implement a personalized treatment plan to improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities. The Occupational Therapist will provide interventions to help patients recover and regain independence after injury or illness.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate patients to determine their physical and mental challenges
2. Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their daily living skills
3. Help patients with mobility, personal care, and other activities of daily living
4. Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment to assist with daily tasks
5. Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure progress
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
7. Document patient progress and communicate with patients and their families
8. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
2. Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
6. Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
7. Experience working with diverse patient populations is preferred
8. Ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs
