Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. They will develop personalized treatment plans to help clients improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to determine speech and language disorders.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs.
3. Provide therapy sessions to clients to improve their communication and swallowing skills.
4. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
6. Educate clients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
8. Stay current on advances in speech therapy techniques and methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
2. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
3. State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
4. Prior experience working as a Speech Therapist preferred.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
