Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain following injury or illness. You will develop personalized treatment plans, provide hands-on therapy, and educate patients on exercises and techniques to improve their physical well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' mobility and pain levels.
2. Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patients' needs and goals.
3. Implement hands-on therapy techniques to improve range of motion and strength.
4. Educate patients on at-home exercises and self-care strategies.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
6. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
7. Stay current on advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
5. Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
6. CPR certification.
7. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
