Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide comprehensive therapeutic interventions to individuals with physical, emotional, or developmental impairments. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with clients to promote independence and improve their quality of life through customized treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and evaluate clients' functional abilities and needs to develop personalized treatment goals.
2. Implement individualized treatment plans to improve clients' motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing.
3. Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training to maximize clients' independence in daily activities.
4. Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure effective treatment outcomes.
5. Document clients' progress, treatment plans, and interventions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of occupational therapy.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
2. Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment.
3. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of therapeutic interventions for diverse populations.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and healthcare team members.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage caseloads, and adapt to changing client needs.
6. Professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to improving clients' quality of life.
