Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will work with individuals of all ages who have communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and voice disorders, as well as experience working with a diverse population.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing abilities
- Provide therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of treatment sessions and progress
- Provide education and support to clients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with individuals with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
