Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist (PT), your primary responsibility is to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses by developing appropriate exercise plans and physical therapy treatments. You will be required to work with diverse groups of people, from athletes to the elderly, helping them enhance their mobility, strength, and flexibility.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments on patients to determine the appropriate physical therapy treatments.
- Developing exercise plans, activities, and modalities that help patients improve their mobility.
- Preparing progress reports regularly and communicating with patients and their families about the progress made.
- Ensuring that treatment plans and activities are safe, effective, and meet the individual needs of the patients.
- Implementing techniques to relieve pain and improve physical movements.
- Keeping up-to-date records of the patient's progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Active state license to practice Physical Therapy.
- Strong knowledge of the human anatomy.
- Ability to create customized treatments and exercises for patients with different needs.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Physical stamina and fine motor skills.
