Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for individuals with physical impairments or disabilities, helping them regain mobility, relieve pain, and restore their functional abilities. You will work closely with patients, assessing their conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing effective therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and functional training, to enhance patients' physical function and mobility.
- Monitor patients' progress, reassessing and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, exercise programs, and home care instructions to promote independent self-management and long-term wellness.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patients' treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and research, incorporating evidence-based practices into treatment plans.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, respecting patients' rights and confidentiality at all times.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Proven experience in providing physical therapy services, preferably in a clinical setting.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Empathy, patience, and compassion for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
- Proficiency in utilizing therapeutic equipment and modalities.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
