Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Rehab
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehab team. The OT will be responsible for assessing patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities and developing individualized treatment plans to help them improve their independence and quality of life. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional strengths and limitations
- Develop personalized treatment plans to help patients improve their function and independence
- Provide hands-on therapy to improve patients' motor skills, balance, coordination, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, such as physical therapists, speech therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to promote independence
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current state license in Occupational Therapy
- Clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
