Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. They will develop individualized treatment plans and work closely with clients to improve their communication skills and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions to improve clients' speech and language skills
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate clients and their families on ways to improve communication and swallowing abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience working with children and adults with communication disorders
