Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide quality therapy services to children with various developmental and physical disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients and be passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting assessments to determine each child's individual needs and goals
- Developing individualized treatment plans to address developmental delays or disabilities
- Providing therapy services to improve children's fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
- Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan
- Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participating in team meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay current on best practices in pediatric occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Certification in Pediatric Occupational Therapy (C/POP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric patients in a clinical or school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Passion for helping children with disabilities reach their full potential
