Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities to help them regain optimal function and mobility. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout their rehabilitation process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to determine patients' physical limitations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement treatments, exercises, and modalities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and overall function
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current on the latest research and advancements in physical therapy practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
