Job Title: Outpatient Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with patients to create individualized treatment plans, implement therapeutic exercises and activities, and monitor progress to help them achieve optimal physical function and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate and assess patients' physical condition and needs.
2. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient goals and physician recommendations.
3. Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and modalities to improve range of motion, strength, and overall function.
4. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
5. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and strategies for managing their condition.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
8. Stay current on best practices and advancements in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development.
9. Adhere to all regulatory standards and guidelines for physical therapy practice.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
2. Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy.
4. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
7. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
