Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them recover from injuries or illnesses that have affected their ability to move and perform daily activities. You will create personalized treatment plans, perform hands-on therapy, and educate patients on how to manage their conditions to improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and needs.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' diagnoses and goals.
3. Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility and function.
4. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
5. Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercises to continue at home.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
7. Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
8. Stay current on advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.
6. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on therapy.
7. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
8. CPR certification.
9. Experience working with a variety of patient populations is preferred.
