Job Summary:
A Respiratory Therapist is a healthcare professional who specializes in treating patients with respiratory conditions, such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia. They are responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients who have trouble breathing or have other cardiopulmonary disorders.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conducting respiratory assessments to determine patient needs
2. Administering medications and treatments to improve lung function
3. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
4. Educating patients on how to manage their respiratory conditions
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies
