Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients who are recovering from injuries or surgeries.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in carrying out therapy programs as prescribed by the Physical Therapist
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
- Help patients with mobility and daily living activities
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Provide education to patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve recovery
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Current CPR certification
