Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing and treating patients with physical injuries or disabilities to help them improve their mobility, relieve pain, and restore function. They work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy to help them achieve their goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations
2. Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
3. Provide hands-on therapy such as exercises, stretches, and manual manipulation
4. Educate patients on how to properly perform exercises and activities at home
5. Monitor and track patients' progress throughout treatment
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
7. Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
8. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in physical therapy techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Compassion and empathy for patients
7. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
