Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to improve their physical abilities and help them recover from injuries or illnesses. You will develop customized treatment plans and exercises to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase strength. Your goal will be to help patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patients' physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercises to prevent future injuries
- Use a variety of modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to aid in recovery
- Monitor and track patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, progress notes, and billing information
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Empathetic and compassionate nature
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
