Job title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide quality therapy services to patients of all ages. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with patients to help them improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities, as well as develop strategies to promote independence and improve overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' strengths and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities, such as strength, coordination, and sensory processing
- Educate patients and their caregivers on techniques and strategies to enhance independence and safety
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of current best practices and evidence-based interventions in occupational therapy
