Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients recover from injuries and disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and providing quality care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist the physical therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Carry out prescribed exercises and therapy programs with patients
- Monitor and document patient progress and report back to the physical therapist
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home care instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in physical therapy assisting or related field
- Current CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and principles
- Excellent organizational skills
