Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to work with individuals of all ages who have communication difficulties. The Speech Therapist will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conducting evaluations to assess clients' speech and language skills.
2. Developing individualized treatment plans and goals for each client.
3. Providing therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, fluency, voice quality, and language comprehension.
4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and teachers, to coordinate care plans.
5. Educating clients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
6. Keeping detailed records of client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
2. State licensure as a Speech Therapist.
3. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
4. Experience working with individuals with a variety of communication disorders.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
