Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary: As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical disabilities or injuries. You will work with patients to improve mobility and relieve pain through therapeutic exercises and modalities. Additionally, you will educate patients on ways to prevent further injury and promote overall health and wellness.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical capabilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Provide hands-on therapy, such as manual techniques and therapeutic exercises
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on proper posture, body mechanics, and exercise techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- CPR certification
