Job title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help improve their mobility, manage pain, and regain strength and function after injury or illness. You will use a variety of techniques to assess and treat patients, including exercises, manual therapy, and specialized equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical condition and needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Provide hands-on therapy to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion
- Educate patients on exercises and techniques for self-care and injury prevention
- Monitor and track patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Work with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including athletes, children, and elderly individuals
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Compassion and empathy for patients dealing with pain and disability
