Job Title: Director of Rehab
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehab to oversee our rehabilitation department and ensure the delivery of high-quality therapy services to our patients. The Director of Rehab will be responsible for developing and implementing rehab programs, managing a team of therapists, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for patients
- Provide leadership and supervision to therapists and support staff
- Monitor and evaluate therapy services to ensure effectiveness and quality of care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and policies
- Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of therapy staff
- Oversee the budget and financial operations of the rehab department
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in rehabilitation therapies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy
- Current license to practice therapy in the state of employment
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a rehab setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in rehabilitation
- Experience with budget management and financial operations
