Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals who have physical, developmental, or emotional challenges to help them improve their ability to perform daily tasks and live independently. You will assess patients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to promote functional ability and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve clients' physical and mental health
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve treatment goals
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide education and training to clients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
- Experience working with individuals with diverse needs and populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques, principles, and practices
