Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for helping others improve their communication abilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting assessments to determine individual speech and language needs
- Developing treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
- Providing one-on-one therapy sessions to clients
- Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Educating clients and their families on techniques to improve communication skills
- Documenting all therapy sessions and progress reports
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure or certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities
