Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will work with individuals of all ages to help them overcome physical, mental, and emotional challenges that hinder their ability to perform daily activities. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and improve quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients’ strengths and limitations
- Develop personalized treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive abilities, and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote holistic patient care
- Educate clients and their families on ways to adapt their environment and routines to facilitate independence
- Document and track progress throughout treatment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassion and empathy for clients facing physical and emotional challenges
- Experience working with diverse populations is preferred
