Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with physical therapists to provide hands-on patient care, helping individuals regain movement and manage pain. You will assist in implementing treatment plans, providing exercise instruction, and monitoring progress to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist physical therapists in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
2. Provide hands-on therapy and exercise instruction to patients.
3. Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
4. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for continuing their therapy at home.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
6. Assist in maintaining equipment and supplies.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in physical therapy assisting or related field.
2. State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Attention to detail and ability to follow treatment plans accurately.
6. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
