Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory therapy services to patients in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform assessments and diagnostic tests to determine patient's respiratory problems.
2. Develop and implement respiratory care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
3. Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed.
4. Monitor and assess the patient's response to therapy and make necessary adjustments.
5. Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatments.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
7. Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
8. Provide emergency respiratory care as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
2. Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
3. Current state licensure.
4. BLS and ACLS certifications.
5. Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
