Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory therapy to patients with breathing disorders or cardiopulmonary conditions. This individual will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patient conditions and recommend appropriate respiratory therapy treatments
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy
- Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and adjust treatments as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
