Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care services to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions and illnesses. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate respiratory conditions and needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients requiring mechanical ventilation
- Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Current certification and licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
