Job title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with our licensed physical therapists to provide hands-on care and support to patients undergoing rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on support and assistance to patients during therapy sessions
- Monitor patients' progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Help patients with exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic activities
- Educate patients on proper techniques and exercises for at-home care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in physical therapy assisting or related field
- State licensure or certification as a physical therapy assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
