Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care services including assessment, treatment, and education to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate respiratory care plans.
- Administer therapies such as oxygen, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments and make necessary adjustments.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and care techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and timely.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
