Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients regain physical function due to injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. You will work with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy to help them improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent further injury.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and create individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion
- Use specialized equipment and techniques to provide hands-on therapy to patients
- Monitor and track patients' progress throughout treatment and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue at home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to coordinate patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- State licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on therapy
