Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to assist our team of physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Educate patients on exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist with equipment setup and maintenance
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
