Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will help individuals with physical, mental, or emotional challenges develop or regain the skills needed to perform daily tasks and achieve independence. Your role will involve assessing clients' needs, creating treatment plans, and guiding clients through therapy sessions to improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to identify clients' strengths and limitations.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals.
3. Provide hands-on therapy to improve clients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and functional independence.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
5. Educate clients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance daily living activities.
6. Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
7. Maintain detailed and accurate records of clients' therapy sessions and progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
2. State licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Compassion and empathy for individuals facing physical, mental, or emotional challenges.
6. Knowledge of industry best practices and evidence-based treatment techniques.
7. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
