Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, evaluating and developing treatment plans, and guiding patients through exercises and therapies to help them recover from injuries or illnesses. You will work closely with patients to improve their mobility, reduce pain, and increase their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and medical histories
2. Developing personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
3. Administering physical therapy treatments and modalities, such as exercise programs, manual therapy, and electrotherapy
4. Instructing patients in proper techniques for exercises and activities to improve function and reduce pain
5. Monitoring and documenting patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
7. Educating patients and their families about injury prevention and self-care strategies
8. Keeping up-to-date on advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist
3. CPR certification
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
7. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on treatments
8. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
9. Experience working with a diverse patient population
