Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, improve their mobility, and reduce pain through various physical therapy techniques. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and monitor their progress.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct initial evaluations to assess patients' physical limitations and develop treatment goals
- Create individualized treatment plans that may include exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation
- Teach patients how to properly perform exercises and provide education on injury prevention techniques
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to coordinate care for patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment sessions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred
