Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries and improve their mobility. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and a desire to make a difference in the lives of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Monitor and record patient progress during treatment sessions
- Educate patients on proper stretching and strengthening techniques
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
