Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary: A Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients who are experiencing physical limitations due to injury, illness, or disability. They create personalized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain strength and function.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct initial evaluations to assess patients' physical condition, limitations, and goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' needs and goals
- Implement and adjust treatment programs that may include exercises, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities
- Monitor progress and make modifications to treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques and exercises to improve function and prevent further injury
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date on advances in physical therapy techniques and technologies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Patient and compassionate attitude towards patients
