Job title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients recover from injuries and improve their overall physical well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with the implementation of individualized treatment plans as outlined by the physical therapist.
- Supervise and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising therapist.
- Provide hands-on therapy, such as massages and stretching exercises.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
- State licensure or certification as a physical therapy assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and exercises.
