Job title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in helping individuals improve their communication skills. The Speech Therapist will work with clients of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat various speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of speech therapy techniques and be dedicated to helping clients reach their full potential in communication.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs
- Provide therapy sessions to improve clients' speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and educators, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' progress and treatment plans
- Stay current on research and best practices in speech therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with clients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and best practices
- Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
