Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Speech Therapist to join our team and help individuals improve their communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of speech disorders and be able to develop personalized treatment plans to meet each client's needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate clients' speech and language abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills
- Work with clients to enhance their swallowing abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Keep detailed records of clients' progress
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech Therapist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders
