Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
Our Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. They will assist in developing and implementing treatment plans, supervise exercises and stretches, and provide hands-on therapy to help patients regain mobility and strength.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating and treating patients.
2. Help patients with exercises and stretches as prescribed by the therapist.
3. Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
4. Provide hands-on therapy such as massage or ultrasound.
5. Educate patients on proper techniques and exercises for home practice.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
7. Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program.
2. State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
6. Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
