Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. The Respiratory Therapist will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate and assess patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Monitor and adjust respiratory equipment to ensure effective treatment
- Educate patients on proper breathing techniques and respiratory care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures
