Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech and communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals improve their speech and language skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting evaluations to assess patients' speech and language abilities
- Developing individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication disorders
- Providing therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educating patients and their families on techniques to improve communication skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience working with diverse patient populations
