Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will work with individuals of all ages who have difficulties with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating speech disorders using a variety of techniques and tools.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conducting initial evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
2. Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
3. Implementing therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills.
4. Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
6. Providing education and resources to patients and their families.
7. Keeping detailed and accurate records of treatment sessions.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
2. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
3. State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
4. Experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Knowledge of evidence-based practice in speech therapy.
