Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team and provide individualized treatment for patients with communication and swallowing disorders. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and cognitive communication disorders, as well as provide counseling and education to patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess speech and language deficits
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans to address individual patient needs
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and exercises
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience working with diverse patient populations
