Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in promoting recovery, mobility, and independence for individuals in need of physical therapy.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations
- Develop personalized treatment plans to address each patient's specific needs and goals
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and coordination
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue progress outside of therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassion and empathy for patients facing physical challenges
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
